Dedicated Facial Recognition
Dedicated Facial Recognition cameras are designed for the specific task of capturing faces at a faster rate than Facial Detection cameras.
They also have white-light LED illumination instead of typical InfraRed LED to provide better lighting of the target, aiding the IQ analytics algorithm to identify faces more accurately.
These cameras are not recommended for general surveillence.

Intelligence Analytics
Intelligence Analytic functions provide smarter event detection and faster searching capabilities.

Tripwire - draw a line accross the scene and the camera will alert the recorder when something has crossed it.
People Counting - mount the camera overhead looking directly down and define a detection region and tripwire in the scene and the camera will count people crossing the line.
Intrusion - define a region in the scene and the camera will alert the recorder when something is moving in that area.
Video Exception - be alerted when the camera is moved, tilted, out of focus or obscured.

These events are easily searchable directly via the recorder GUI, smartphone app, web browser and CMS software. This saves valuable time finding important footage.
